Flat Clip PL Mount for Arri Alexa Mini
The clips that hold the Alexa Mini's PL mount, remade flat: the part that was missing before our bespoke mounts could fit this camera too.
“Arri Alexa Mini”… what a camera.
It rode the great wave of world cinema for the best part of a decade, and you don't need to ask why. A perfect camera, or almost… they really did think of everything — everything that is standard, that is.
Building our custom mounts, we found they fitted every camera on the market except the Alexa Mini… and there we were, another wall in front of us: try a different route, or build a door and walk through it? Needless to say, taking a pickaxe to that wall appealed to us rather more.
And so, by way of CAD and CNC, our Custom Clips for PL Mount were born.
And let's be honest: this Blue Sky anodising looks very good indeed.
