Yashica 28-500mm cinemod set
Seven Yashica lenses, from 28 to 500 mm, brought back to form and turned into a cine set: focus gears, a single front diameter and made-to-measure engraved caps.
A whole set, seven focal lengths: 28, 35, 50, 85, 135, 200 and 500 mm.
First, the part you don't see: a full clean and service on every lens. A cinemod on a lens that doesn't work properly is still a lens that doesn't work properly, just with gears on.
Then the cinemod itself. Module 0.8 focus gears, designed around each lens, and a single front diameter across the whole set: mattebox and filters stay the same when you change focal length.
Finally, the custom caps. The front ones are engraved with brand, focal length and aperture, so you find the right lens in the bag without turning it over; the rear ones match. All in purple.
